Mandate To provide funding assistance (to a maximum of $100.00 per member per school year to be used towards registration fees only) to District 13 members for conferences, workshops or non-credit courses. To organize meaningful professional development activities. To co-ordinate and organize the District 13 PD Day. | Meetings One per month at 4:15 pm at the District Office. Future meeting dates include: Jan 21, Feb 18, Mar 25, Apr 15, May 20 and Jun 17. | Duties of the School Representatives To attend the P.D. meetings once a month. To distribute Funding Request Application Forms to those members needing financial assistance for P.D. activities. To check and sign these Forms, ensure appropriate documentation and then forward them to the P.D. Chair. To collect proof of attendance (receipt) from the applicants. To distribute the cheques to the successful applicants once the Executive has approved the requests.
